To help me with this when you book a session, feel free to make recommendations that you are after, I will always ask if there are specific shots you want, and make my own recommendations from there. If I know before-hand what you are looking for and where we are going to be, I can usually do more for you in a shorter time, which is especially important when doing photoshoots with children, as their patience can wear out much more quickly than ours.
